Studio Policies + Etiquette

Behavior in Studio: We are incredibly grateful for this yoga community and value each and every student. To ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all and to respect our sacred space, please be aware of your actions and words within the studio. If your class has ended and another will begin shortly, please clean up your space and gather any personal belongings. If chatting with another student, be aware of others who might be preparing for their practice and consider continuing your conversation outside of the studio. If you are attending the last class of the day, our staff needs to clean the space and close up, and we ask that students do not hang out in the space for more than a few minutes after class has concluded. Please avoid talking during class, as we want to show respect to our teachers and fellow students. If the temperature of the room is uncomfortable or the lighting is at all bothersome, please let your teacher know and avoid changing the thermostat or the lights yourself.

Phone/Texting Policy: To maintain a peaceful, focused, and respectful environment during yoga class, we ask that all mobile devices be placed on silent. Please refrain from texting, calling, or using your phone during class.

Pre-registration: To ensure the best possible experience for all our students, we kindly request that you pre-register for all classes. Pre-registration helps us plan class sizes and ensure we have adequate studio space when our teachers are setting up and prepping the studio. If a class is full, pre-registering allows you to be added to the waitlist and notified if a spot becomes available. Our #1 priority is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Late Policy: To maintain a peaceful and focused environment for all students, we have a strict late policy. The studio door will be locked once class begins, and no entry will be permitted after the scheduled start time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up your space and settle in. We appreciate your understanding as this policy helps ensure an undisturbed practice for everyone.

Cancellation Policy: Please be respectful of others' time and space. If you can no longer make it to your scheduled class, please cancel your booking within one hour of the class start time. Some of our classes require an advanced setup or sell out, and for this reason, we ask that you cancel your spot to make room for someone else. We understand that life happens and occasionally there are extenuating circumstances out of our control.

No Show: Students who do not attend their registered class will be charged $10 for the class or have it deducted from their class package. We understand that emergencies happen – please contact the studio or your teacher if you have extenuating circumstances. This policy helps ensure fair class access for all students and allows us to maintain reasonable class sizes.

Mat Rental: Mats are available for rent on a per class basis for $3. Please see your yoga teacher, karma yogi, or studio manager to rent a mat. Do not take a mat yourself, a staff member will get one for you. Please return your mat to a staff member after class so it can be properly cleaned and stored.

Mat Storage:
Students can leave their mats at the studio for easy and safe storage for a monthly fee of $5 (unless you are a member, in which case you may leave it for free). No other personal items may be stored at the studio and mats may only be stored after a mat rental agreement has been completed.
